Since neoprene, also called chloroprene, is produced in such large quantities, it is a cost-effective material. Neoprene has excellent chemical and ozone resistance. Rolls and sheets of neoprene are available in a wide range of thicknesses and sizes, in both blends and pure forms. Unlike other rubbers, neoprene is strong and useful due to its balance of attributes, rather than having extreme and specific characteristics. Available in thickness ranging from 1mm to 25mm, this water resistant sheet is resistant to abrasion, and UV light.
